I’m Kristyn. A designer with a passion for creating and the people that I create for. I believe design can do more than make things look pretty. With a meaningful and intentional approach, design can elevate an idea or product and bring it to life.

I currently live in a little farm house in the heart of Lancaster County with my husband, cows out back and all, and I love it!

Branding

Branding Process 

1. Questionnaires - I'll send you questionnaires to see what makes your business special, who your audience is, and what your stylistic preferences are.

2. Gathering inspiration - We Pinterest together! This is a great way for me to get a sense of what your vision for your brand is. I’ll add some inspiration as well and make sure we are on the same page before moving forward.

3. Presenting Options - I take all that inspiration and create a presentation that includes a mood board, logo options, color palettes, fonts, etc. 

4. Gathering Feedback - Next we can talk about any possible changes or additions, or maybe you love it and want to move forward!

5. Creating Branding Collateral - Once its nailed down I start creating things like social media templates, website mock ups, business cards, or anything else you want to update to have a consistent visual presence! And of course some fun graphics to announce your new look! :)

Squarespace Web Design Process

1. Questionnaires - I'll send you questionnaires to see what makes your business special, who your audience is, and what your stylistic preferences are.

2. Inspiration search

I take the answers you gave me in the questionnaire and brainstorm ideas on what the overall look of your site will be. This could be patterns, hand drawn elements, etc.

3. Site outline & content collection

This part will require a little more homework from you! Together we will make an outline of the pages that are being built, identifying sections of content and the order they will appear in. Then I'll need some copy from you that will go under each section! We can use some of your content that is on your site already, but this is a good opportunity to refresh things and add new content that helps your audience really get to know you and what you can offer them!

4. Mock Ups

Once we have our content ready I can start designing what the web pages will actually look like! I like to create these in my design programs first rather than on the web, because it really saves time in the long run if changes are made. After the pages are approved and exactly the way you want them, we then move to the next phase.

5. Building in Squarespace

Here is where I take everything from the mock ups and create it on the web (yay!). Sometimes there are changes that still happen in this stage if I can't get Squarespace to do exactly what I envisioned, but mostly the end result will very closely resemble the mock ups.

6. Launch!!

Then we are ready to go live and share your new website with the world!! I can create social media graphics for you to share to announce your new site (woohoo!).
